Cant create ANY queries - PHP - DW8 - typeError

Has anyone run across "typeError: afterNode has no properties" when
attempting to create a query in PHP?

I can't get anything done on my site because of this $%^&#@ error. I
Googled for the error and find that over the last couple of years there are
quite a few people that have had this error. And, no response from
Macromedia about it... Surprise!

Anyway,

Anyone have a solution to this?

TIA,

Larry Woods

I have never encountered this problem, but the error message indicates
either that your installation of Dreamweaver has been corrupted in some
way or that you have invalid code on your page. Dreamweaver relies
heavily on JavaScript to analyze the content of a page when inserting
behaviors and server behaviors.

You may be lucky and solve the problem by uninstalling any recent
extensions, but if a rogue extension overwrites a crucial file, it can
prevent Dreamweaver from working properly. In that case, the only
solution is to remove all third-party extensions, uninstall Dreamweaver,
remove the Configuration file at C:\Documents and
Settings\<username>\Application Data\Macromedia\Dreamweaver
8\Configuration (or the Mac equivalent), and reinstall.

Iwoods,

Please note that Adobe Systems has acquired formerly Macromedia more than a year ago and was officially ingreted into Adobe System, Inc, after the federal government agency approved the merger/acquistion -- I believe around last December 2005 or January of this year. It is pretty old news to us.

And not exactly relevant.

Steve, if you read OP's original content... claimed that there were no responses from Macromedia. Read it over there once more.

Cheers! 😄
