I have never encountered this problem, but the error message
indicates
either that your installation of Dreamweaver has been
corrupted in some
way or that you have invalid code on your page. Dreamweaver
relies
heavily on JavaScript to analyze the content of a page when
inserting
behaviors and server behaviors.
You may be lucky and solve the problem by uninstalling any
recent
extensions, but if a rogue extension overwrites a crucial
file, it can
prevent Dreamweaver from working properly. In that case, the
only
solution is to remove all third-party extensions, uninstall
Dreamweaver,
remove the Configuration file at C:\Documents and
Settings\<username>\Application
Data\Macromedia\Dreamweaver
8\Configuration (or the Mac equivalent), and reinstall.
