CC2014: how to get rid of blue lines around elements?

Hi People,

I must have inadvertently changed some kind of display setting,

because now in DW's split or "live" view, I get a blue outline surrounding

everything I click on; it shows a little blue box with class ID, etc

on the upper left.

I really dislike this particular editing mode, and want to go back

to the way I've been editing in DW for 10 years or more.

Can anyone tell me how to turn this feature off?

Thanks!

(ps using in Mac / Yosemite)

Blue box in Live View denotes that element is selected.

If you're seeing something different, please post a screenshot of your workspace.

Nancy, the nature of my question had to do with
how to turn off the blue boxes.  I don't want to

see elements outlined and highlighted this way.

The blue boxes have just started appearing in the last

month or so.  They were never there before.

Is this not an option I can change somewhere?

OOPS, nevermind.

They're turned off under View > Live View Options > Hide Live View Display

THANKS John & Nancy.  Got that done.

Part of the problem was being in "Live View", period,

vs my old familiar "design view".

the google fonts seemed to show up better

in "live" but it has it's editing issues compared

with design view.

all good.

much appreciated.
