Creating a password for access to a specific page on my site

Can someone provide me with a step by step guide on how to password protect a webpage on my internet site using Dreamweaver CS3?

Assuming your server is running PHP, go to google and search for "PHP sessions password". You will find many articles on how to do this.

I am running DW 8, but if you go to the windows panel and then click on the Server Behaviors tab, and then the + sign, you will find "User Authentication." Click on "Restrict access to Page" and set it up!
