CS4 - Stored Procedure crash issue fixed?

Hello,

I am considering upgrading to Dreamweaver CS4, mainly so I can use Stored Procedures again without Dreamweaver crashing.

For anybody unfamiliar with the problem I am discussing, in CS3 if you tried to insert dynamic field using the Application pane Dreamweaver would crash. The general consensus seemed to be that a fix would not be issued but it would be fixed with the release of the next version, CS4.

Is this the case? I know there is a demo but I do not currently have a spare machine to test with so I am wondering if anybody has had any experience with this issue and any knowledge if it has been fix in CS4.

If you are using the ASP Command Server Behaviour then no, its not
fixed, the work around is still to use the Recordset Server Behaviour.

Dooza,

That was the issue I was referring to, it's a shame they haven't fixed that yet. I was considering the upgrade if that was fixed but now I am not sure if I will bother.

Has Adobe made any mention to if they are ever going to fix the ASP Command Server issue?

Thank you for the reply,

Lee

If it's important to you, file a feature request:

When I reported it last year I was told it may be fixed in the next
release. The more people that raise the issue and have it reported as a
bug the more likely it is to get fixed. Use the link David Powers gave
and get the ball rolling.
