I have had to reinstall my computer because someone managed to access my computer after finding out my Adobe username and password. They then pretended to know all my passwords.
I scratch rebuilt my pc so that drivers and malware were removed and this has resulted in my DW - CS6 being reset to factory default installation.
I am only doing a website for my brother and a personal art website so I do not want to have to repurchase all my extensions.
I installed DMX updater and reinstalled Bootstrap3 which I was using but this does not appear to be working as it does not show in my extensions manager.
The problem is that I already have a website designed with Bootstrap3 and have pulled up that website folder which has all the bootstrap files in it.
However the DW CS6 interface will not show the design as I am working on it and anything which starts to use bootstrap just disappears from the design pane.
I have been asked to transfer to WordPress but I prefer to stick with Dreamweaver as WP seems such a steep learning curve just for what I need to do.
Does anyone please have any advice on how to get the bootstrap working again on my CS6 version.
Thank you in advance for any feedback
Terry

There is no reason why it would not work. You will get much better help from DMX Zone than you will here. I suggest you connect their customer support channel.

Hi Terry,
If you install the DMXzone Extension Manager, it will process all of the DMXzone extensions automatically. You will need your DMXzone login details.

Hi Terry,
As Ben says, if you are using DMXZone's extensions your life will be a lot easier if you use their own extension manager which will also work with newer versions of Dreamweaver and install third party extensions too.

I have designed the site for my brother at www.tanyalak.com
This is no way a means of advertising on this group.
It was originally created from a downloaded template called "remember".
The only thing - I cannot remember where I bought it..... 🙂
It used to preview in my designer but now the boxes appear randomly on the screen and is no longer a WYSIWYG environment.
I cannot, for example, just go to the bos I want to edit and enter in what I want any more.
It has either disappeared or the bodxes overlap each other on screen BIG TIME!

In the first post you mentioned Bootstrap 3, in fact the site that you have referred to uses Bootstrap 2. Could it be what is causing the problem?
If you have a DMXzone Bootstrap 3 extension, this may help https://www.dmxzone.com/go/22366/convert-bootstrap-2-based-page-to-bootstrap-3/

Okaay - it will not upgrade...
However I am wondering to start over the same design in bootstrap 3 again (somehow!!)
How can you tell which bootstrap is being used on templates?
Thank you for all the feedback.

Have a look at http://www.tanyalak.com/css/bootstrap.css and http://www.tanyalak.com/js/bootstrap.js
But if you want to rewrite, do it using Bootstrap 4

Bootstrap 4 is a re-write of the old code base. It's faster and better in many ways but it's not compatible with older Bootstrap versions 2 & 3. And it does not support pre-IE10 browsers because it uses Flexbox layouts instead of floats. See link below for more info on the differences.

Ensure your local site is properly defined in DW/
Fix the code errors in your Template.dwt. Then populate changes to your child pages.
