Hello,
Problem: None of the extensions I have installed for DW6 are showing up in DW. For instance, I have installed the WebAssist free tools and DWUser Slider extensions. They install in Extension manager with no errors, and yet when I restart DW they do not appear.
Background Info: I'm using Win7 64-bit on my desktop (problem computer). I also have a laptop with Win7 64-bit as well with CS6 installed. Everything works fine and shows up in DW6 fine on my laptop. I have an SSD on my desktop with my OS installed there and my User/Program files are on a regular HD (D: drive).
Things I've tried:
1. Uninstalling and re-installing everything (more than once). As well, I moved my CS6 installation from my usual D: drive install to the C: drive, thinking it might be a permissions problem. I'd rather not do this due to limited space on my SSD.
2. Applying all updates (12.0.2 to DW6 and 6.0.4 to EM6)
3. I thought maybe the problem was with some additional C++ installs that I had, and I removed them and applied the latest Microsoft patches.
4. Looked at the log output from EM6. No notable errors except a huge amount of "-Receive the request from AIR, Request name is externalPumpBridgeTalkMessage". This led me to believe there might be a problem with my C++ install files.
5. I compared the configuration files and directories with the install on my laptop. The only difference I found was that there were no MXI files showing up in the "(user)\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Extension Manager CS6\Mxi Flag" folder on my desktop (problem computer). However, I tried copying the files there manually, but that still didn't solve the problem.
I've searched extensively on the support forums and have tried most of the "fixes". Please, anyone with some idea of how to solve this?
Again, there are no error messages present at any stage of the software or extension installs.

I still haven't solved this problem. However, here is some additional information. I installed an extension for Photoshop CS6 on the same computer and it works fine. Therefore the extension problem seems to be just with Dreamweaver, not the entire CS6 install.
