CSS Anyone??? <help>

[netlace_design]

I am using css and am trying to make a div opaque. It is turning out okay, but when I do this, my left navigation gets covered by the newly opaque'd div. If I take the opacity directions off, the navigation is usable again. What's up?????? Any takers?
