What DW are you using?

In DW MX

1. Open a file
2. Save if it's not been saved.
2. Click Text
3. Mouseover CSS Styles
4. Select Manage Styles

If you have created a CSS File
5. If you have any sheets displayed, remove them. Click on Attach.
6. You should see a file/URL box with a browse button and two radio
selections at the bottom, Link, and Import. Are you saying your "Link" is
grayed out?
7. Select Link OR import (it doesn't matter, unless you don't want NN4 to
not get your sheets, use import)
8. Click browse and locate your css sheet *within your document*
9. Click OK. It should now be properly attached.

If you have not,
5. Click on New. This will create your first reference. I typically select
Tag and then Body, to set my defaults.
6. Click OK, it will ask you where to save it
7. Edit your CSS as needed. It should now be properly attached.
