Database tab not finding CF datasources

I'm trying to create a site with ColdFusion. I 1) created the site 2) chose CF as the language, and 3) specified the FTP information.

Historically when I do this the Database tab is immediately populated with all the data sources that have been created in CFAdmin for that server. This time it stopped on step 4 and asked me to specify the RDS login information, which I did. It asked where CF Admin was; I told it and it tested okay. Everything should have been fine but I was still stuck on step 5, creating a data source. When I click on the link in step 5 I get taken to the CFAdmin page where I can see all the dozens of potential data sources that have already been created.

Any idea what I'm missing here? Thanks!

Edit: I'm using CS3 on Mac OS 10.4 if it matters.

If you specify your RDS login user name and password correctly,
you should see the databases come up in the database window.
I found that if I did not specify it correctly, I got the window that
asked where the administrator is.

I went back and reset the password in CFAdmin just to make sure I had it right and the problem persists. I'll actually get a checkmark by that step if I hit Refresh, but if I click on "create data source" it takes me to the CFAdmin page...
