I write stories in Mac Pages with the font set for Arial, 16 pt. I copy the story text and the text area where I paste it is a column in a table has the body font set to Arial 16px. When I paste the text it defaults to Times New Roman. How can I force the pasted text to confirm to the font I set for the story?

Thanks

Alan

You don't.  Ideally, you should always paste non-formatted, un-styled,  plain text into your HTML pages.

Go to Edit > Paste Special > Text only or Text with structure.

If your HTML page is connected to a well-crafted stylesheet, that will give your paragraphs and headings the styles they need.
