Hi,
I am waiting for a DW update from 2021. Any news?

Sad to hear that. But I need a WYSIWYG program to keep up my huge website if DW dies out. I cannot be dealing with codes ONLY, because I will go nuts in the process.

Have a look at using Wappler which is a low code editor. It is very easy to migrate.
I have created a few videos demonstrating using Wappler:

Dreamweaver is in minimal maintenance status. No new features are planned other than essential security updates.
Alternatives for visual designers.
-- Pinegrow - https://pinegrow.com/
-- Visual Studio Code (free) - https://code.visualstudio.com/ + Live Preview Extension
ONLINE SITE BUILDERS:
-- Squarespace - https://www.squarespace.com/
-- Webflow - https://webflow.com
-- Wix - https://www.wix.com/
-- WordPress (open source) - https://wordpress.org/
Hope that helps.

I don't need new features. They only have to iron bugs out. So, sad to hear that.
OK, I will check the other alternatives, but a webmaster like me, using DW since the first Macromedia versions, will have a hard time finding a replacement.
Thanks so much!

Which bugs are you referring to?
From where I sit, DW works fine for most things: HTML5, CSS, JS, SVG, XML, etc...

No, there have been bugs since the times of Macromedia. There is a special one corrupting the interface, for example. I have to scroll up and down to restore the text. It's difficult to explain without watching it in action.
OK, thanks for your help!

That's sounds like a GPU problem. Make sure your computer meets the minimum CPU & GPU requirements. Most Creative Cloud apps work on:
- https://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/system-requirements.html
Use Ctrl + Shift + F11 to toggle between LIVE & DESIGN view. LIVE view takes longer to refresh the screen between edits. DESIGN is more efficient for quick edits.
For Unusual Behavior, Restore Preferences.

I am a gamer, so my computer is a monster, be assured.
OK, thanks!

A gamer's computer is not a coder's computer or a graphic designer's computer or a video editor's computer. Every user's system is different.

I have two 32" designer monitors, a Radeon 6900XT with 16GB VRAM and a 16 core Ryzen 7950X, and 64 GB of fast DDR5 RAM, and a NVME Pcie5, all running on a 1000-dollar-motherboard. I guess that it is enough to run DW from 2021.
OK, enough. Thanks!

Then you of all people should know of a declining Dreamweaver. The problem started back in 2012 when server-side panels were removed. and the Spry framework was discontinued. Since then, a multitude of deletions and non-updates were made. I see your posts in 2016, regarding Find and Replace, to name one. The removal of the Extension Manager is another.
What we are left with is an IDE with and outdated Bootstrap framework and a PHP version that is too dangerous to use.
With Wappler, I have found the Team extremely accomodating, In the following video (the first part was delivered to the Team) I give the new Beta version a bit of a run and came with a few suggestions. Two days later (this is shown in the 2nd part of the video), the suggestions were incorporated into the Beta version!

Yes, it getting outdated. Adobe does not want to invest in development, it seems.
As I have a customized CMS built for me by a programmer, I don't need to deal with PHP and Bootstrap. I just need strong HTML and CSS. Nothing else. In the past I had a test server, but I don't need it now really.
Thanks for your help and kidness.
