My site's server just changed its sshd configuration to remove insecure algorithms and Dreamweaver (v18.0 on a Mac with High Sierra 10.13) can no longer access it via SFTP. It does not support FTP. I have the list of my server's supported SSH Ciphers, Kex Algorithms and MACs.
How can I find out what ssh standards Dreamweaver supports? Is there a way (e.g., a config file) that I can update Dreamweaver to ensure it uses one of our supported crypto standards for SFTP?
The team is aware of the limitation and is working towards updating the feature. You can share your feedback with the team using Adobe Dreamweaver CC: Feature Ideas
Meanwhile, I suggest using Filezilla.
Thanks,

CS6 is no longer sold, supported or updated.
The free Filezilla client is a good option for FTP when legacy versions of DW won't play nice with a given server configuration.

Thanks Jon,
I was working nicely last week but WPEngine changed it SFTP configuration to requiring aes192-ctr or aes256-ctr to connect securely to its server.
I can't find any of those options in DW to configure.

And you won't because CS6 has not been updated since Dec 2012.
You would need to purchase a Creative Cloud subscription to get the latest version of DW CC 2018. Or as Jon said above, use a dedicated FTP Client like Filezilla.

Thank you Nancy and Jon, I will use Filezilla as recommended.
You have both been helpful and prompt to help me.
