I found this in a Google Search:

Step 1: Check System for Corruption:

Repair System Files

1) Press Win + R

2) Type "cmd" and Press Enter.

3) Type "sfc/scannow" and press enter.

Note: You will need Admin rights to run the sfc command.

Step 2: Update to latest Windows

1) To check for Windows Updates (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, and 10):

2) Click the Start button.

3) Type "update" into the search box and hit ENTER.

4) The Windows Update dialog box will appear.

5) If updates are available, click the Install Update

I have searched for information regarding uiautomationcore.dll but found nothing helpful.  There are sites that allow me to replace the file, but they are either outdated or a malware trap.  Microsoft's website only shows tech specs.  There has to be a way to resolve this issue without wrecking the computer.

I have done the steps that were mentioned and the next time I used Dreamweaver, it didn't seem to cause a crash upon closing.  I ran the disk cleanup to see almost 1 GB of clutter that I then cleaned up.  I may have to test it in the next few days to see if it is really a permanent fix.  I hope things go well before I consider this issue resolved.

After continued usage, I have realized that the issue is really NOT resolved.  The problem still persists.

You might not like my answer.  Do a clean re-install of Windows.

I may not believe that such a drastic approach is really needed for a minor issue on one program.  These issues started since there was a livekernelevent crash on Windows since the update at the end of October.  This hardware crash seems to only affect Dreamweaver (as far as I know).
