The new preview mode is terrible.  PLEASE switch back. Is there a way to switch back?  Do not like the new "Files Icon".  Also coding is buggy in general.

Probably because you're not accustomed to them yet.  I don't really think about the icons anymore.  They are what they are & not terribly important to my workflow.

Also coding is buggy in general.

I don't know what that means.  That's not my experience.  Can you cite some examples?

Presently using CC 2017.1  with HTML, LESS, CSS, JS/jQuery, PHP & XML without any problems.

If you're seeing code errors, check your Output panel to see what's described.  Code Linting can be a mixed bag of tricks, however.  Sometimes, I disable it in the Preferences panel.

Specifically, I find Dreamweaver CC code mode buggy, when trying to select parts of the code to copy or cut to paste elsewhere. I mainly use Dreamweaver at work to code HTML and CSS to be used in a CMS.

Many times when I select code, and try to copy a section, it will not copy it, and then deselect my selection.  Sometimes when I select and copy a section of code, it will delete it. I find it buggy and annoying.

Make sure you're working with valid code.

Thank you Nancy.  The code is valid.  I have deleted the Dreamweaver cache.  I will post an update to see if this fixes the issue.

In CC 2017.1 (latest patch) with Code & Design open, I have no trouble selecting code.  And I can easily copy, cut & paste with keyboard shortcuts --  Ctrl+C, Ctrl+X and Ctrl+V.

Can you explain more about your workflow and how it differs from mine?

Design mode.  I mainly use keyboard shortcuts as well.  It does not happen every time but, it happens enough to be annoying.  I will select code and then try to copy it, and the copied section will deselect itself.  Also, many times I will copy a section of code and when I come back to Dreamweaver, in the section a copied will be a [-] and I will have to undo that to get my code back.  I never had any issues like this before the Dreamweaver CC 2017 update.
