Dreamweaver CC 2018 - Text line spacing issue at the cursor

What a major stuff up in this latest version.  When typing then need to add a letter, or a word at the cursor is impossible.  The only non-hair pulling thing to do is to do the copy in Word, then copy/paste.   Really Adobe!!!  Thanks for nothing !!!  Except a waste of time... Robert M

regarding copy/paste make sure you go in your preferences > copy/paste > only text

for the cursor that gives you problems in inserting a letter in the text may depend on the graphics card, update the drivers and check that there are no problems of that type.

Sounds like your installation is corrupt. Try these things, in order, and see if one of them fixes it for you...

What is the size and resolution of your display?

Have you set your display to 100% (normal) zoom?
