Dreamweaver CC doesn't open on Windows

New Here ,
Mar 06, 2017 Mar 06, 2017

My Dreamweaver CC won't open on my hp Windows 10 laptop. Every time I open the application it crashed right away. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it already and that still hasn't worked. If anyone has an idea of what might be wrong or some way to fix the problem that would be great!

Have you attempted running it as Administrator the first time?

When you uninstall/reinstalled, did you use the Adobe Cleaner Tool?

Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

What does your Windows Event Viewer say is the faulting module?  See link below for details.

Photoshop crashes with Lavasoft Chrome extension installed

If the faulting module is "LavasoftTcpService64.dll" (or something similar) then Lavasoft is the culprit.  It's a known conflict with many Adobe products including DW, PS, AE...  Uninstalling Lavasoft and its related DLL files fixes the problem.
