Dreamweaver cc updating links on resaved pages to root instead of relative links

Wonderful update again changing settings to cause links in pages to be changed to root instead of relative links when resaving pages.  No adobe support causing needless time loss in changing individual links when resaving pages. Have used dreamweaver for 20 years but it is losing ground. Only reason I still use it is to speed things up when working on pages I can clink on a section of the page to take me to the code point.

I need to be able to update the setting, wherever it is, to change this setting so it will only update links to relative and not root.  No easily found place to reset to where it was and use only relative links.

Does your document contain relative links currently or is it a mix of root & relative?

Dremweaver is basically out to pasture. Adobe is no longer actively developing new features or bug fixes for the program, just bare minimum maintenance of OS and security updates so it can keep running for existing customers.

You can find the setting you're looking for under...

1. Site > Manage Sites
2. Click your site and hit Edit (pencil Icon)
3. Click Advanced Settings
4. Change "Links Relative To" at the top to "Document"
5. Save
