Dreamweaver crashes now it has been updated to CC 2017

I posted this elsewhere but the discussion was locked and the question not answered. I have just updated to CC2017, and it crashes every time I open it.  Can you point me to some things to try, I have tried a lot of things already from some searches but nothing has worked. And I have found a lot of articles about the same problem which makes me wonder how stable it is on Windows 10. I am using a Toshiba, RAM 16GB, 64bit i7-4700MQ 2.4GHz

I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice. I have removed all older version (bad move, should have stayed with them from what I hear about this version)

Here's the DIY troubleshooting page: DIY troubleshooting kit for Dreamweaver

Uninstall/reinstall doesn't normally do much unless you also run the Cleaner Tool: Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems files get left behind in a regular re-install that can affect the new installation.

Check your Windows Event Viewer for the faulting module.  That will tell you what is causing DW to crash.

Do you have LavaSoft's Web Companion on your system?  It's a known conflict with Adobe products.  Uninstalling LavaSoft fixes that.

Another possible cause is corrupt or missing DLL files.

Also, you might want to update your graphics cards.  I prefer to go directly to the manufacturer's web site for these as MS doesn't always have the very latest ones.
