Dreamweaver CS6, FTP error message, internal error?

All was working fine up until earlier today when I tried to upload a very minor text update to my site when I received this message.

I've restarted both MAC and Dreamweaver and switched of router for a few minutes both to no avail.

Once again any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you try connecting with a dedicated S/FTP client like Filezilla? 

Failing that, contact your web host.  They may have upgraded or changed server settings without telling you.
