I recently tried opening Dreamweaver on my MAC and it will not open due to various java script error messages. I tried downloading an update for it, it failed, and now I don't get the java script error messages, but a message that just says that Dreamweaver can't be opened. I tried looking for the cache.dat file in the configurations folder and there is none. Your help would be much appreciated. I'm baffled.

NOTE: CS6 has not received an update since Dec 2012. There is no further support for this product. It's legacy ware and not certified to run on the latest Mac operating system so Creative Suite installers don't work as expected. You will need to consult the workaround below if you're on Sierra.
