When will I be able to run Dreamweaver on my M2-Chip Mac? No hint from Adobe. Looks like they give me a ride on a dead horse - Free of charge? Of course not. Can't believe it.

It's not just Dreamweaver.

Creative Cloud apps are not certified for use on M2 chips, yet.

See below:

https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/apple-silicon-m1-chip.html

(*These apps run natively on Mac computers with M1 chip but we're still testing and optimizing them for Mac computers with M2 chip. We recommend using these apps currently in Mac computers with M1 chip only.)

At this point, DW is being kept on life support for the current userbase.

It's in a "minimum development" state where Adobe has no plans for new features or bug fixes.

The only things we've been told to expect going forward are security patches, third part library updates, and OS compatibility fixes (I assume only for the systems listed here).

I've taken the view that DW is essentially the free coding app that comes with a full subscription to the Creative Cloud. I would switch away immediately if Adobe decided the only way to get it was a single app subscription, of any price.

Besides what was already said, it would be helpful to know what is going on. Is it completely dead to the point the installer does not even work? Or can you install but the application will not run or always generates errors?  Or can you open the application, but certain features do not work or always result in error?

Hi @mirinha ,

Could you please help us to know what exact error or issue you are facing while installing or running Dw 21.3.0 on M2 machine?

Thanks,
