Why would you need MX?

Anyhow - they always install as independent Apps. It should be no problem.

If you find that it is causing a problem installing both (which you should not have) Try installing MX to another drive on your PC if you have one.
If your on Windows your second hard disk (if you choose this method) will create a "program files" folder to which you will get a "macromedia" folder and the installation will reside there.
