Hi,
I will be on a near 12 hour flight a few days from now and am wondering if I can use DW19 w/o internet connection during that time.
If not - is there an alternative?
Thank you for advising.
Michel
It shouldn't be an issue. There seems to be a lot of confusion due to the "Creative Cloud" moniker. It doesn't actually store anything on the cloud (at least not by default, anyway.) It merely indicates a subscription model software rather than an out and out purchased version.
Unless I am missing something.

The app only needs a connection to attempt to verify your subscription every 30 days or so.
But even if you do get the "We can't connect to the Adobe server to verify your account" pop-up window, it can be dismissed and the programs can be used for a duration of time dependent on your subscription type.
Individual plans allow for offline use for up to 1 calendar month +99 days.
Team & Enterprise plans allow 2 calendar months +99 days.

I know it probably goes without saying, but make sure you do a final synchronise before you leave the house in the morning and nab all the files that you'll need.
I also highly recommend going to devdocs.io and downloading any documentation you need for offline use. AMAZING for flights.
