Dw Preview works in FF; not in IE/Edge/Chrome

Hello, all,

I've got Dw CC 2018 on my workstation, and I've set F12 to preview in FireFox.  However, if I click on "Real Time Preview" in the lower right and select IE, Edge, or Chrome, I get a blank screen.

Any suggestions on how to get the other browsers to work with RTP greatly appreciated.

V/r,

I have no problem with local JS in IE or Edge.  I suspect you have other issues going on.

Maybe the level of browser security needs to be dialed back a little.  That might also explain why you can't use RTP  because that's delivered inside an <iframe> which poses another set of security issues.

What happens when you right-click on an open document tab and select Open in Browser?

Open in Browser will open the file, directly and without benefit of a webserver.  Which, for the most part, is fine; but it breaks my JavaScript in IE and Edge.  Opening them from a webserver keeps my JavaScript intact.

That could be.. I didn't realize it was posted inside an iframe.  Those are blocked by network admin security settings.

So there's literally nothing that can be done about it.  There's no way they'll allow iframe.. for anything.  smh
