Just like many people in the past years, one of our graphic designer is experiencing a really annoyng problem: while working on her files the changes are not applied, even if the source preview shows them. The "Save" command is greyed out and pressing Ctrl-S does nothing. DW is up-to-date (2017.5) - but the issue always occurred with CS5.5 - and the files are located on a network share (Not FTP). Additionally, when this happens another symptom of erratic behaviour is that clicking on an item in the WYSIWYG window does not select the related code in the source window (Does make sense?).
Cheers!

As far as i know this is a paid upgrade, so is currently not possible (But i'm going to check out contract).
Also, i found lots of really negative comments about DW 2018 which are not really encouraging me to switch to it: the problem for which i opened this post happens sporadically, but users using DW2018 report much more annoying problems

That is often the case, users that have a problem voice their opinions. The silent majority experience no problems. You decide.

The latest update, like Kratika said, has support for files on network drives.
The only other way I can see is for you to move your files to a local drive and work from there.
Thanks,
Preran

??? DreamWeaver has always been used like this by us, and started having issues, as far as i know, only with v2017. Before that no problem whatsoever, so this sound strange to me. Do you have a release note or something to support Kratika's post?
Cheers!
