The database behavior + and - buttons are grayed out!! I have tried everything!! Here's the setup and hope someone can suggest a remedy please. I have two machines - one a testing server and one a client - both on a small lan. Server is Win 2003 with MYSQL installed and MYSQLfront used to setup and populate a simple database. Client is Win XP with DW8 installed. I am using .asp (but also tried .php). I open a .asp file in DW and then under applications/databases I set up a connection to the MySQL server. That works. In DW I can see the database tables on the server. I then go to the bahaviors tab and find the + and - are *still* grayed out. The bahaviors tab says the doc type is asp vbscript. The testing server is set up as vbscript also. I have also tried populating the index.asp page with forms but to no avail.
So I am a newbie. It's something dumb I know. But what?

Do you mean the "behaviors"? Or the "server behaviors" ?

The behaviors have nothing to do with server model .. the server behaviors
do tho. If that is what is greyed out, is the testing server greyed out on
your machine? Have you created and saved your .asp document?

Thank you Nancy. I meant Server Behaviors. Yes, I have created and saved the .asp file.
