Editing .inc files

Can anyone help me why I am not able to see code hints or color coding for .inc files on dreamweaver? My .inc files are all coldfusion coding

Inc has no meaning or coding by default, as will act as a custom text file without any setup.  If you add the inc file extension to the MM document type and tell it to act as Cold Fusion DW should treat it as such moving forward.

Which version of DW?  I ask because support for ColdFusion was removed in Dreamweaver CC and later.
