Error message and bugs

New Here ,
Oct 02, 2020 Oct 02, 2020

Hi everybody,

Since the beginning of the week, I've been having big problems with Dreamweaver :

- PHP disappeared in "New document".
- INSERTION grayed out and unusable
- Clicking on Insertion impossible and generating an error message
- Error message when saving a file

Dreamweaver Version: 20.2 Edition 15263

Are you experiencing these problems?

Sorry for my English but I am French 😉

Try re-creating the user config folder and see if this helps:

If not, you may need to try re-installing DW because if New Document options are missing there is likely something wrong with the program.  Also I would recommend backing up your site definitions at this point in case the re-install does not work and you have to end up using the CC Cleaner tool to re-install.

If re-installing doesn't fix the problem, try reverting to the previous version 20.1 from your Creative Cloud desktop application.  Click the 3 dots icon (more options) and select Older Versions.

Hi !

Problem solved :
I uninstalled Dreamweaver 20.2 via the Creative Cloud application,

restarted the PC

and reinstalled Dreamweaver 20.1.
The update to 20.2 was done without any problem.
Thank you ! 😉
