Sorry,
But I don't understand this message "Exception caught while loading events.xml: Accès refusé (access denied)" which appears in IE7 when i launch files using Spry.Data.XMLDataset : with my own files ok! but with samples files of Adobe Labs (b_ 06_spry_widgets.html in folder "vid0167" ?
Is there a solution with a code (hack) sample ?
Thanks,
Philippe

Sorry. I have no answer, but I'm having the same problem. Not only with the samples files, but also with my own made Spry-dataset when trying to show the page in IE7.
I get this message: "Exception caught while loading albums.xml: [object Error]"
When trying to show in Firefox, all is going well.
Also wondering if anyone knows a solution for this.
Thanks,
Maik T.

I also have the same problem in IE7. Guess IE7 doesn't like Spry.

I also have this problem with my own xml file: "Exception caught while loading xml/videos.xml: [object Error]"
I don´t know what to do because in Firefox and Opera everything works fine and the XML File is correct.
It is like taht example:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<video>
<videos>abc</videos>
<othertag>abc</othertag>
</video>

If anyone have an idea please tell my.

Its now a couple of months since the last post on this thread, and a fix has not been published.
As IE7 accounts for about 90% of all hits on my web sites, is there any point in trying to use xml / spry on my pages?
