Extensions / Filter: (What are the "proper punctuation" properties ?)

Guest

Could someone be kind enough to tell me where I can find a list or a place to learn about the "proper punctuation" to use in the (Category, Extensions, Filter: options area) of the CSS rule definition dialog box. I want to try utilizing these filters to see what kind of effects can be used within the Dreamweaver environment.

Like this first option: Alpha(Opacity=0, FinishOpacity=0, Style=?, StartX=?, StartY=?, FinishX=?, FinishY=?)

Thank you as always Adobe community,

Fred...

Don't bother working with the types of filters your talking about, they are only supported by IE and can be quite processor intensive depending on what you use. If you want to find out about these types of filters, try starting your search at:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms532847%28VS.85%29.aspx

Or hit the search engine of your choice and search for "explorer css filters and transitions"

Just an FYI: These are user to user forums, not "ask Adobe" forums.

Thank you for the helpful information.

But why would Adobe put some special effect features in a web design

program that is not supported by most browsers ?
