Find a tab in a document

Community Beginner ,

I just upgraded to the new CC 2017 and can no longer search for tab characters in a document. In the previous version, I could use ctrl-tab to put a tab character in the search box, but in the new version ctrl-tab switches document windows. I can work around the problem by copying a tab and pasting it into the find box, but that's inconvenient. Any suggestions?
