Flash Text with IE 6.0 in XP

Hi,

I'm having an issue with Flash Text - when I hover over the Flash Text in IE 6.0 it says to "click to activate and use this control". So you have to double click in order to use the link - click once to activate and click again to go to the defined link. I was wondering why it does that? My PC was recently upgraded to XP and it's been doing that ever since. It was not doing it when I had Win 2000. I have no idea if they are related. I searched all the forums and did not see any realted information about this.

I'm using DMX to create the site and the site is used internally.

I appreciate your help!

Thanks,

Veronica

Then you didn't search very hard. Microsoft had to do this because of a
lawsuit. You can defeat the change by following Microsoft's instructions
here:

Thanks for the info! But, I don't appreciate your comment. I thought that these forums are supposed to be helpful not critical. If I knew exactly what the issue was, I would not have searched or looked here in the first place.
