I am using fredoka one from dreamweaver and have transferred the files I made to flask. the tag is still their and works on localhost but not my domain.

I have no idea what Fredoka or Flask are, sorry.
Custom fonts will only work if the fonts are installed on the end user's system. If you're rolling your own font kit, you will need to upload the various font files to a publicly accessible web host. Most commercial hosting plans operate on Linux or Windows servers.
If you don't roll your own font kit, you'll need to get your fonts from a service like Google or Adobe Fonts and embed the font scripts into your document's <head> tag (see screenshot).

Fredoka One is not "from Dreamweaver" it's s third party font you have installed from another source that should appear in most of your installed programs. Since that font won't be installed on most systems, your viewers won't be able to see it unless you've taken the steps necessary to include it in your uploaded files.
Fredoka One is available from Google Fonts here: https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Fredoka+One
If that is the same as the font you have installed, follow Nancy's suggestion to add it to your site and it should then display correctly for you.
