How do I change the Dreamweaver Icon on files in site map view? In the site map view the files have a Dreamweaver icon with a green background and a Dw. Can someone tell me how I could change that to be an image of my choice or anything else using eiter the preferences or changing the code?

I don't think that you can change what is displayed for those icons, at least not from within Dreamweaver itself. I've never used the Site Map features, but it may be that the icons shown are what your system has set for each of the pages that are displayed. So if your system has Dreamweaver set as the associated application for .htm pages, then that's what it may be using.

FWIW: The Site Map is being removed in the next version of Dreamweaver:
