How to create a bulletin board or message board

I am a fairly new user of dreamweaver, and a new learner. I am would like to create a bulletin board (message board) for our community website. This would allow members of the community to post items for sale, etc.
Can someone help me? I appreciate it very much.

Most of the time, it's a good idea to use a message board system that is
already out there. Google Message board in your server model of choice and
see what's there. If ASP, try http://forums.snitz.com If PHP, try
http://www.phpbb.com If you want just a CGI interface, try
http://www.worldwidemart.com
