I have created a form in DreamWeaver, wen testing it. when I pressed the submit button, it would open the e-mail client and you would have to send the email. Is there any way to do it so that when the submit button is pressed it sends the infomation automatically?

If your hosting plan supports PHP mail (), the correct answer below might work for you.

Let me move this to the Dreamweaver forum, where you are more likely to get an answer to your question.

It sounds like you are using the mailto function currently, which as you found, is not ideal.

What you'll need to do is look into using a Form to Email script. Many hosting companies will have one available for free wrapped into your hosting package, along with the instructions on how to implement it. If not, there are third party scripts available online that can do it, or hosted third part services that you can link to.

It's always best to start with your hosting company though, those are typically very easy to add to your form.
