how to create a serial protection for a dreamweaver extension ?

I have created an extension for Dreamweaver and I would like to setup a serial protection so only the customer may use it.

Is there any tutorial or a book which helps ?

Just noticed your post on a previous topic with a similar issue, sorry, but I do not view this section very often anymore as most of the questions are no longer about extension creation.

To answer you question, no there are no such tutorials that I know of, and except for the section on using the C api in the dreamweaver extension pdf's I know of nothing that may help you to learn the 'how-to' in this respect. If you know how to use a de-compiler, (probably unlikely if you do not know C or assembler) then examining the code created by other extension providers may be a way of getting started.
