How to make a trade, buy and sell site?

I need help to make a page where people can trade, buy and sell merchandise from other users. Similar to kijiji.

What type of help do you need? What is your level of experience with server side scripting (application programming), database design and SQL? If your proficient with these then it will not be too difficult. Otherwise, you might look into finding prebuilt apps you can install on your server.

My level of experience is very low, i can create individual pages and thats about it. Where can i find prebuild apps?

I dont have any direct experience with classfied ad scripts so I can't recommend anything specific. Search the web for 'php classified software scripts' and you'll find plenty. Review the features and see if any meet your requirements. This assumes you have hosting that supports php. Check with your host if you're not sure.
