Hi, I just installed adobe dreamweaver on a trial and found that the live html display does not correctly display the code (see picture hyperlinked below) I am not too sure why this is happening or how to fix it but I have tried Reinstalling Dreamweaver, Reinstalling Adobe CC, and restarting my Mac.

Any help would be appreciated, Thanks!

Try fixing your code errors.   DW is very fussy about code syntax errors.  Use the Code Error indicators to guide you.  Also make use of the Output and Validation panels.  See screenshots below.

If the HTML is blacked out, you might see Dreamweaver indicating an HTML error IN RED at the bottom of the blacked out area. Since no HTML lines are visible, it's impossible to correct. I tried remaking the file using a file that had no errors, but as soon as I did a "save as" in the name of the "defective" file, the HTML area blacked out and the identical RED error notification appeared. I rebooted Dreamweaver, and the exact same file that had previously had the RED error notification had no error upon restarting Dreamweaver.

If your program is not displaying HTML in the Source View panel, there is likely a corruption in your installation somewhere. Restoring Preference may be all it takes to bring it back: https://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/kb/restore-preferences-dreamweaver.html

If that doesn't take care of it for you, please start a new thread here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/Dreamweaver/bd-p/dreamweaver about your issue, be as descriptive as possible (OS, DW version, etc).
