I'll apologize in advance if this turns out to be so obvious
that it's a waste of proples' time, but I can't figure it out.
Here's the scenario:
- Added Image Viewer to a simple HTML web page
- Used Dreamweaver to set the ImageURL tags, all document
relative
- Page previews fine in browser on my machine, but when I
upload everything to the web site, I get the page to display
but no Image Viewer at all. That part of the page is blank,
as if there's nothing there.
I have at least 3 problems/questions:
1. Obviously, why doesn't it work?
- Uploaded the page
- uploaded the .swf file
- uploaded the images into the correct doc. relative
directories
- Still get nothing when I browse to the HTML page
2. Even when it works on local machine, there ends up being a
little buffer space between the images and the border
of the Image Viewer element. I can make this fairly small by
keeping things proportional, but can't eliminate it entirely. Is
this
just built into the control and unavoidable?
3. Also when I try locally, images in viewer appear
differently when viewed in Firefox. Image inside the viewer element
is 2/3 the size as it was in IE although viewer element itself
stays same size.
4. I did say at least 3. Here's #4. Assuming this ever works,
would a visitor to my site have to have Image viewer component
installed on their client for it to work or does Flash player
handle it?
Any help is gratly appreciated.
