images not showing up in preview

I have a web site that I'm working on that has a simple problem (I'm sure) but it is frustrating. The web site is in it's own folder on the server named public_html. The thing is, the pages look fine when I view them in Dreamweaver and when I upload them to the server but when I try to preview view them locally some of the images don't show up. Some of the image sources have a forward slash (/) at the begining. These are the images that don't show up.

Please help! This is driving me nuts!

Thanks again.
