index.html background images don't show on upload?

My css HTML index edits show in live display from dreamweaver. But, the background images will not display on website after I upload? I'm editing changes via source code. Is there something I"m overlooking

Did you upload your image?

Did you check to ensure the path to image is correct?

The directory on your server needs to be identical to what is on your local drive. If it isn't the same your links will be broken.

If you are using Chrome, then type chrome://settings/clearBrowserData into the address bar and follow the prompts Other browsers should be OK with a refresh or two.
