For each extension you install in Extension Manager, there is descriptive text that explains where to find the extension in DW.

If you still can't find something in Dw that was supposed to be added by an extension, make sure that you are using the correct version of Extension Manager for your version of DW.

If you still can't figure it out, then you'll have to contact the author of the extension.

HTH,

Randy

Hello Randy,

I use the extension manager which was on the same cd when i bought the Adobe

product (Adobe design premium CS4)

I installed maybe 10 different extensions now but not one is visible when i

use the software.

I can contact all these different authors but i guess that it is a setting

in my software because it is impossible that i have problems with all these

different extensions.. It is realy strange because the extension managers

tells me that all the extensions are activated...

kind regards,

Myrthe

Where are you expecting to see them? Each extension add items to the Dreamweaver UI in unique places. You have to read the Description and UI sections of each extension to find out where they show up and how to use them.

Hello Randy,

I understand what you are saying but i can't find any of the extensions!

For example. I installed this extension:

http://www.m65.net/articles-joomla!-joomla-template-kits-tutorials-joomla-template-kit-3.x-manual-76.html

when i go to window i normally have to see : Joomla Template Kit 3.X

Just like the author explained. So easy... but no it doesn't appear in my

software...

Could it be that there is a problem with my software? I just bought it

new...

Kind regards,

Re-open the Extension Manager and make sure that the Extension is in the list. Maybe the installation failed and you didn't see the error message. If it's not there, then re-install it.

Also, make sure that the Extension is enabled. This is the check box at the left of the list. It's possible for Extensions to be disabled and still be in your list.

If it's there and enabled, then try un-installing and re-installing it.

After that, you'll hav to contact the Extension Author.

Hi

I have the exact same problem, just in DW cs5 trial... is there a restriction in the trials, so I cannot use extensions ? Otherwise, why doesn't they show up in DW ?
