I just installed xampp 1.6.5 with my dreamweaver 8 and I don't seem to have a problem with xampp. However I can't seem to view php pages when I hit F12 to view them. Xampp is running great! What seems to be your problem with Xampp?

Hi, Kevin ... thanks for the reply ... I just reinstalled and stopped at the point of the XAMPP control panel displaying. My total unfamiliarity with Apache/MySQL/PHP is undoubtedly getting in the way here.

Previously, I selected the "service" option when I downloaded. I did not this time. Then I tried to display index.php in dreamweaver, local host could not be accessed.

I just "started" Apache and MySQL, and opened DW8.

I selected an index.php file from my files list of a php coupon program that I purchasd and am trying to learn how to use. I hit F12 and I get an "Object Not Found" Error 404.

Thoughts?

Thanks!
