L5 SCORM Producer Error in CS3

I installed the L5 for DW8 into CS3 (there isn't one for CS3 specifically). When I import a course and fill in the metadata and click OK, I get the following error message dialog twice in a row:
"While executing onLoad in sp_createmanifest.htm, a JavaScript error occurred."

While it does seem to create the files needed, I'm not sure they are correct and it doesn't remember anything I did past importing the course after I exit, so metadata and all are lost if I go back to edit.

Anyone have an idea on this?

I was preparing it for SCORM 1.2 since we are using THINQ, which doesn't really support SCORM 2004.

To update, I finally got this work somewhat. It worked on THINQ but not on our other learning server which uses the THINQ API. I gave up and decided to use two other programs instead: SCORM Runtime Wrapper (which is only 1.2 compliant) and Manifest Maker for ADL SCORM 1.2. Between the two of those I was able to easily achieve a solution that worked consistently across both learning servers.

I am hitting the same snag--the error message regarding sp_createmanifest.htm that pops up twice. Like you, I am using Dreamweaver CS3.

Have you gotten a solution? If so, please share. I'll do the same if I get one.

Well, it doesn't seem to make a difference in the big picture. I noticed that it doesn't hold on to title settings and a couple of other settings, but other than that it all works.

Well, to complicate matters, I tested the IMSMANIFEST that L5 produced in ADL's Conformance Test Suite and it says the manifest is not in conformance. Additional problem for me is that I have to run this in two environments, a LMS and an application that uses the LMS API. It finds the API on the LMS, but not running in the application environment. The obvious answer would seem to be that something is wrong in the application environment, except I have other SCORM compliant courses (not implemented using L5) that work.

Still no closer to a resolution here.

Another qualifying question - SCORM 1.2 or 2004?

I am working on a SCORM 1.2 Solution for DW-CS3 into SABA.

Is there anything new to report on L5 for DW CS3? I've been looking all over ( http://emdeconsulting.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=17&Itemid=29) but don't see anything compatible with CS3.

I'm seriously considering downgrading.
