Dreamweaver V20.2 build 15263.

When opening Large MB .txt files (e.g. 18 MB) . . . . contents are not displayed.  The display area is gray, then white screen.  Sometimes I can see the beach ball.

All small file size .txt files open and display contents properly.

18 MB text file is really huge.

To put this in context, I have an entire SQL database with 1,000+ products and descriptions that weighs less than 800 KB.  The largest scripts + minified Bootstrap files only weigh 200 KB.  There's no reason for a text file to be more than that.  Why are your text files so big?

Nancy, appreciate your feedback. It’s a database text file. I understand that Dreamweaver isn’t designed for these large files, but as the file sizes grew I was hoping to continue using DW. Previous DW versions didn’t cause any file size display issues. i.e. the file contents opened. Life goes on. Thanks again, Ron
