Live data in cs3

New Here ,

Started a discussion elsewhere on this forum and have been advised to repost it here. In short cs3 is not posting my live data from access 2010 database.  Created recordsets fine and no error message appears.  link to the thread:

I'm not sure you can use the recordsets built into DW.  CS3 was developed around Access 2003/2007 and recordsets have slowly become irrevelant on the mySQL side as well as the Access side, in fact all support for ASP and .NET was dropped in CS4 (issues with MS not releasing code to Adobe fast enough to support).  Also I don't believe that CS3 had the same Live View that was introduced in CS4 and has been improved upon in CS6.  Your best bet is to install IIS, assuming you have a windows computer with either Windows 7 or a professional version of 7 or an earlier version of Windows.  Then run the server locally for testing and don't use the Live Data feature in DW because it might not support features of Access 2010 to get the data to post in Live Data.

Thanks for the reply.  I have iis7 installed but for some reason the accdb files won't open from the local server.
