Why does dreamweaver take so long to load? I'm talking about more than 5 minutes. I don't have this problem with any other adobe app.

1. Define your site on your primary hard drive. Site > Manage Sites.  Local Site Folder: C:\YourSite\

2. Disable Site Caching. Advanced Settings > Local Info.

I think things are better now. The cause is the cache. So I turned it off. The other hint doesn't work, I have dozens of sites that are on different media

Well... if it continues to lag, moving files from other media to the primary will definitely improve performance.
