The developer toolbox in CS3 is basically the former Interakt
Kollection
rebranded now that they are owned by Adobe. It's overkill for
what you
want.
Dreamweaver comes with the extensions to make a login .. but
you will need a
database table and if you're going to do any dynamic
development, you won't
go far without needing that anyway .. whether or not you
purchased the
developer toolbox or another extension.
Dreamweaver also has tutorials on the DevNet site for getting
started with
this .. once you create a database and login table, the User
Authentication
server behaviors in DW will do what you want.
