Mac system upgrade causes excess fan noise and loses code view

This afternoon I upgraded my 2019 iMac to 14.4.1 from 14.4

Since then, Dreamweaver creates loud and accelerating fan noise.

Checked Activity Monitor. It is DW. As soon as I quit DW, the fan subsides.

Tried restarting a couple of times and quitting all other programmes. Same problem.

Also since the upgrade I've lost code in my split view. Blank.  If I switch to code view, all blank.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Thanks Nancy. That seems to have worked.
